Developed for my company Tula Technology, the cellular data-acquisition device uploads data of interest from vehicles to the cloud using cellular connection. The data is then analyzed on the cloud in real time, and also made available to engineers for diagnostics and analysis.
- The prototype uses a SM32F303VC microcontroller as the host, and collects Analog and CAN data from the vehicle. This is interfaced with a XBee Cellular modem on a DIGI adapter via USART to transfer data packets to the cloud.
- A linux OS running on a DigitalOcean server acts as the MQTT Bridge.
- Host software applications can get access to the data by subscribing to the bridge.
